2023 Queanbeyan Public School Catchment Update

Queanbeyan Public School Catchment has received an update for 2023 due to the new Googong Public School opening next year. The purple striped area is its existing 2022 catchment that Queanbeyan Public School will retain in 2023.

It will pick up the red striped area from Queanbeyan West Public School in 2023. This area is fully built up with a mix of low to medium-density dwellings.

The green striped area will be transferred to the newly established Googong Public School in 2023. These areas are sparsely populated, so the impact on enrolment is limited.

Overall, there should be a modest increase in the total enrolment number for Queanbeyan Public School.

The black border is the 2023 catchment boundary and the red is the 2022 boundary.
